Opening Rolls Royce plant in the Canary Islands

The British multinational has entrusted the performance of the cranes GH and collaboration of Astilleros Canarios 

( Astican ) , facilities for the implementation of one of its main repair and maintenance services for oil platforms and vessels in general

 

The plant, of 2000 square meters, has 7 GH cranes , which becomes a reference in Rolls Royce, a multinational linked to excellence and quality, and has been one of the most valuable brands in the globalized world .

 

The President of the Canary Islands, Fernando Clavijo, the Cabildo de Gran Canaria, Antonio Morales, mayor of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, Augusto Hidalgo, president of the Port Authority of Las Palmas, Luis Ibarra, among other authorities, inaugurated , with the president of Rolls-Royce, Andrew Marsh, CEO and Astican, José Carlos Alvarez, the new center for repair, maintenance and storage of Rolls-Royce facilities located in Astican in Puerto de La Luz.

 

 The maritime division of the British company opened its ship within Astican facilities in the presence of numerous political and business personalities in the archipelago.
